Justine, I live in New Zealand & just wanted to say your corner of the internet is one that I hold onto very tightly. It’s like watching hummingbirds bathe in a sunny bird bath - charming, wholesome, & quite funny. ☀️❤️
That peach saffron jam looks amazing!! I'm sorry to hear about your TSA mishap — I had a strawberry bacon jam confiscated months ago from a restaurant in Charleston that I *still* am salty about.
Oh no!! Sad about your jam. How is that a security threat?! Lovely recipe tho and once I have a functioning kitchen I shall make it. Side note: as soon as I saw the jam recipe I knew I would have to avoid the comments as recipe pedants are terrible but conserving pedants seem to be so much worse, and my pet hate is unwanted advice, even if it’s not aimed at me xx
Enjoy your trip!!! TSA knew a good thing when they saw it and had to “confiscate” the jam for the break room!!! 🍑 and planning on making the devil’s cauliflower tomorrow!! 🔥
Welcome to CA! Hello from Sacramento! I've gotten homemade jams confiscated at TSA too and it is a real bummer. I don't think most people think that they fall under the liquids restrictions. Enjoy your trip!!

Yes, because clearly the threat to our nation is.....jam.

Welcome to California and enjoy SF. I had honey from Canada confiscated by TSA… those peeps mean business 🤷🏻♀️🥴☺️
They looked me dead in the eye and were like "Are these peaches?... These can't go." And tbh I'll never forget it

honestly most people have been chill! (Thank goodness lol), although I got tips about oven-canning that I'm excited to try out!
As a San Franciscan, I appreciate the love. So glad you're having a fabulous time in our wonderful city ❤️
I wish I could stay 8000 more days!

I’m sorry to hear about the honey. I’m currently baking banana muffins adapted from your delicious blueberry recipe. Watch this space. 💜
Thank you, love <3 How were the muffins? It sounds delicious.
They were absolutely delicious! And so fluffy! I felt very smug!!🤣🙏
