Why hello there! While I promise this is not a spammy newsletter, I have an exciting announcement that warranted a Monday newsletter!
On October 10th, I’ll be joining Carla Lalli Music (of the fabulous newsletter, Food Processing) to talk everything cookbook proposals. It’s a seminar Carla is holding, I’m just a guest (and an excited one!) and you can find tickets here. I’m so thrilled to participate and chat about how my proposal came to be, the process of selling it, and the BTS of all things cookbooking!
As for my book, after this event and up until we can finally *do some reveals* I’ll be going dark on talking about it. BUT as my newsletter subscribers and little sweet potato gnocchis, I want to do a newsletter-exclusive Q&A about the cookbook. Ask me anything about it (Recipes! Structure! Secrets! Photos!) by replying to this newsletter, and I’ll answer what I can in this week’s Saturday edition.
And then after that…we go quiet, until we can finally GO LOUD. (And believe me, I will be so, so loud).

So excited for this! Will it be available internationally? And also, will it be a little bit like a memoir? I love the storytelling in your videos so I am curious about how that will show up in the book!
Are any of your current recipes going to be in the cookbook or are all of the recipes new?
Will it be focused on techniques, ingredients, pairings, etc?
What percent is on appetizers/snacks, entrees, sides, desserts, etc?
