Welcome to the first edition of Snacks, my weekly newsletter THAT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING. All caps, because it’s been…too long? Way too long. So what can you except from Snacks? First, you’ll get a newsletter every Sunday at 9am ET rounding up all my recipes, content, and links in one place (we’re one day late this week…because I wanted a cute lil’ launch day on
Definitely with you on Lessons in Chemistry! I read Book Lovers by Emily Henry the week before and it had a similar easy breezy vibe, but I liked the characterization more.
Really happy for you!! Congrats or the newsletter! Really proud of you rn:) and I’m actually interested in knowing which genres of books/novels do you like to read?? Have a great day!
Oooo that's tough - I read everything, but right now I'm really loving either novels that span decades and are really character-driven (Think: The Immortalists, The Vanishing Half) but I'm also loving fiction about dystopian societies (Think: The Testaments, etc.) Usually I don't go this dark, I also love ~chick flick~ reads that aren't necessarily romances, stuff like The Favorite Sister, Gone Girl, etc!
Ooh I’ve actually wanted to read the immortalists do you recommend it? And omg I have this book recommendation and it might not relate to the genres you just mentioned but I get the feeling you might like it, it’s called “grounded” by Kate klise it’s very touching and it’s just beautiful in many ways I highly recommend plus it not really a romantic book it barely has romance in it!
I was looking for a book to read this august and you might have convinced me to try lessons in chemistry!! Also — very excited this project is finally coming to fruition, have been looking forward to hearing from you in my inbox for a long time! 💓
Definitely into the book club idea!
