Oh my goodness I could hug you. I was at the farmers market this morning and feeling (for the first time) inspired and excited about all that winter veg. But even better to come home to your newsletter and wish that I had selected so much more! Chicory and mushrooms next week, for sure.

Why are leftover salads even better than the original fresh version? I sometimes make extra salad on-purpose and hide the leftovers from my family 😂

I made the brothy beans!! What a beautiful meal. They simmered on my stove while the kids played - I could play, too, because the whole meal was so hands-free! The baby ate a couple of beans. The toddler ate bread dipped in broth. I ate it all. Such a treat, especially on cold wintery nights. Thank you for this!
